The Municipality of Filyra is situated in the Prefecture of Rodopi, to the northeast of Komotini and consists of the following villages: Filyra, which is the municipality’s seat, Agra, Drossini (Ano and Kato), Aratos, Ardia, ta Archontika, Vraghia, Dokos, Drossia, Drymi, Essochi, Neo Kalyntiri, Lambro, Nevra, Omiriko, Passos, Paterma, Ragada and Skiada.
