Location: The church is situated in the interection of Eleftherios Venizelos and Aghios Vlassios Str.
The Monument: According to the marble relief inscription on the lintel at the exterior of the narthex, the construction of the church was completed on April 11, 1838. It is a three-aisled basilica with gabled roof, an oblate narthex and a gallery; the apse of the sanctuary is semicircular. The simple bell tower of the monument is attached to the eastern side of the roof and it constists of two built columns covered by a tiled roof.
Some of the most important icons of the wooden iconostasis are the icons of Christ Pantocrator, created by the painter Nicephorus in 1812, the icon of St Blaise dedicated to the church by Aggelos Kazanztis and his wife Palatiani, and finally, the icon of St Demetrius that bears a dedication by Hatzi-Dimitrios and his wife, Palatiani.
There is a marble, relief candlestick adorned with vegetal motifs and a dedicational inscription dating back to 1757.
