To the west of the now abandoned settlement of Kerasia, a single-aisled Christian church of the 11th-12th centuries, with dimensions of 9x7 m, was found. Regarding its architecture, it is a single-aisled, barrel-vaulted, cross-in-shape church with truncated arms, which is a type of church that became widespread after the 10th century AD. It is constructed with small mountain rocks, while marble slabs are found at the floor, which survives almost intact. The church bore wall painting decoration, a small part of which was revealed in the base of the semicircle of the niche. The numerous artistically elaborated architectural members recall the Constantinopolitan art.
