The first of August fire

There is an old tradition at the Maronia village. Its habitants are Thracians who every 1st of August light a big fire at the yard of the community hall and feast around it. The municipality organizes a night of celebration with bands, traditional dancing, meat-eating and drinking and crowds are flowing till late at night.
