Cock sacrifices at St.Dimitrios celebration

St. Dimitrios is celebrated in Northern Greece. There is a rooster’s slaughter at the little chapel of Didimoticho, on the day of the celebration of the saint. This custom is kept until today and the lunch of the celebration day is a cooked rooster.
