The Tichiro bridge is located in the Rodopi’s prefecture, 8 km away from Komotini and 700 m away from the Tichiro settlement, at the Kioprou Yani area. The settlement of Tichiro is in 18 m altitude and it had 302 inhabitants at the 2001 census.
It is about a two bowed bridge with 21 m in length and 3 m in width. The big bow is 6 m in length and 3.50 m in height while the small one is 3 m in height and 3 m in length. The bridge is in good condition and it was used until recently by the inhabitants, since it connected Komotini with the mountainous settlements of Pandroso, Nimfea and Paterma.
