At the eve of St. Theodori celebration, on the 26th of February, the whole village stays awake. The young men’s companies go out on 12 midnight grouped in small teams and break in. The parents of young women know what is going to happen and watch over their carts and everything else in their yards. Breaking in lasts all night. Young men usually overturn the cart and make the ‘divirdisma”, an action with sexual implicit, since stealing a cart connotates stealing the young woman’s virginity.
