Location: It is located close to the central square, behind the Mosque of Moustafa Pasha.
The monument: In the large-dimensioned Kasamba Mosque or Tsarsi, elements of folklore art are observed recalling the architecture of the tobacco warehouses style.
In the wide interior of the monument, the mihrab is made with local stones decorated in relief, while the same materials have aslo been used for the construction of the monumental entrance gate that leads from the antechamber to the main prayer hall. An inscription that used to be on the lintel is currently kept in the mosque of Moustafa Pasha. From this inscription, one can infer that the current building was erected over the ruins of a previous one, after a fire that occurred in 1873. The high minaret built of local ashlar blocks in the isodomic masonry is also astonishing.
