It is the second biggest bridge in Xanthi’s prefecture. It is looking like the Iasmos bridge regarding its construction. Maybe it was built from the same craftsmen at the same time. The words “Yedi Bouroun’ mean ‘seven noses’, possibly after the seven peaks that are around. This three bowed bridge is built in the conflux of the two tributaries of Kompsatos river. We can reach the bridge after walking from the Korfovounio village of the Satres area or going down the Kotani-Koundouro pathway to Tsalapetino. The decking is Ô 43 m in length. The big bow is 17.30 m in length and 10 m in height. The western bow is 7 m in length 7m in height. The eastern bow is the smallest, 3.30 m in height. There are supporting bows between the three arches that lighten the whole construction.
This are where the bridge is built is suitable for walking, while it is situated in one of the virgin areas of the mountainous Xanthi. We meet other impressive bridges too at river Kompsatos. Beginning from Thermes, we meet the big Medusa bridge and another one as we move to Kotani. If we follow the pathway to Koundouros and Tsalapetinos, we will arrive at an imposing bridge with a central apse and two bows, after two hours walking. There are four more bridges at the Satres area: a recent construction outside the village, an old bridge in Satres, another one at the road to Akreos settlement and a little one at the road to the Temenos village. The biggest bridge of the Kopsatos river is the Iasmos one.
