The mansion of urbanized communities of the Ottoman period fully reflects the period it was built in. It incorporates the influence of new architectural streams that existed in every period. There are many characteristic houses of this type in the old town of Xanthi, which coexist harmonically, fully incorporated and based on traditional architecture, with baroque elements and neoclassic elements of gothic architecture and westernized industrial architecture of the end of 19th century.
